Dr. R. Allen Blosser 
MD, FAGA

Dr. Richard Blosser started his private GI medical practice in 1993 after finishing his residency and fellowship education at Georgetown University. He attended and graduated in 1988 from Eastern Virginia Medical School after a successful undergraduate career at The University of Virginia.

 

He has focused his career on advanced endoscopic techniques and has participated in numerous clinical trials over the past three decades in the advancement of gastrointestinal endoscopy. He performs upper endoscopy procedures with multiple therapeutic additions such as Stretta, ESG, TORe, and Orbera balloon placement.

 

He as well performs colonoscopy and ERCP endoscopic procedures and has successfully performed over 75,000 endoscopic procedures during his career. He has been elected numerous times to the Washingtonian Top Doctors listings and currently holds a Fellowship appointment to the American Gastroenterological  Association (FAGA).

Emily Hart 

APRN, FNP-C, CSCS

Emily Hart is a highly skilled and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. With a passion for gastroenterology, she specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal related complaints and disorders.

As a proud US Army veteran, Emily was inspired to study nursing and become a nationally board-certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with expertise in exercise science, nutrition, and psychology.

 

She takes a holistic approach to patient care, connecting and sharing with her patients to help them understand their condition and plan of care. In her free time, Emily enjoys being active outdoors, running, playing music and spending time with her family and dog.

Gurleen Sodhi
MSN, FNP-C

Gurleen Sodhi is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in gastroenterology care. With a patient-centered approach and a deep commitment to health education, Gurleen brings valuable experience in patient assessment, health promotion, and managing complex gastrointestinal conditions. Known for her compassionate approach, she aims to make each patient feel comfortable and supported on their health journey.

Outside of her practice, Gurleen enjoys trying new foods, spending quality time with her family, and playing with her dog. Her warm personality and expertise in gastroenterology make her an invaluable asset to our team. Gurleen is excited to help patients achieve optimal digestive health and well-being.
